Joshua Moves Up in Everything

We started Potty training Joshua the first week of June. He didn't like having wet pants on. SO, if he was outside & got a drip of water on him, he would insist to have the pants taken off. I wanted to capitalize on that feeling. I started the process thinking he was way too young & the whole process could fail on me. It was hard in the beginning, but has gotten easier. The whole process is still pretty much parent-led. He will mostly tell me he has to go, but, usually after he has gone a little already. But-much to my happiness, we can go out places and stay clean and dry.

This last week, I also moved rooms around and Joshua started sleeping in his big boy bed. He's just growing up on us. The transition has been OKay. Again, he may be too young...but, it's working. There has been one wake-up in the middle of the night (perhaps due to poop), one night testing us & getting out of bed, and one night of complete horrible-ness going to sleep where I gave up & through him back in the crib. We'll see how the coming nights go, but, knock on wood...it is a change that seems to be going well!

Hello big boy bed! Rail was put on post-pic.

Bye-Bye crib (unless Mommy gets mad enough)
